Rafinha, vai a merda! New York Times, se liga!

"(...)Brazilians have always had an appreciation for the absurd"

I just want to remember you guys from the NYT and all Rafinha's fans, that "absurds" just can be funny when they can be noticed. In our society, unfortunally, raping is not an absurd but a reality. Check our numbers please. You could also take the chance and check the numbers between Brasil and other countries about plastic surgery, body interventions and all the victims of this beauty industry. You'd notice that the obligation of being "beautiful" to a brazilian women is not an absurd here also, is a cruel reality.

Mr Bostas knows that and the sad thing is: he agrees with that! He agree with the fact that some women don't have sex because they are "ugly". He proved that also when he said in his TV show that mothers with ugly tits just feed their babies in public because they are exhibitionists (not because their babies are starving) and it's a pitty that the ones with nice tits doesn't do it. Because for Mr Bastos, women tits are made to satisfy men, not to feed human beings. Actually for Mr Bastos (and unfortunally for lots of brazilian too) women existence has only this goal. Check also the bear advertinsing in Brasil - this "men" product.

His success in internet is just a sign for what should be changed in brazilian society and thank god there are people doing something against it (I'm proud about some comments I read here). I know nice guys very happy with "ugly" women because women for them are more then a body. That's how it should be. I make mine the words of Amanda: "The fact that makes all people so angry is not only that this person does this kind of joke, is that this article will give this person a visibility that will appear to be positive exactly in the moment that he was supposed to be giving explanations to justice for the crimes he is being charged of. Just a note: he did not show up today (oh I am so surprised..)"

Btw, to compair this man with Tropicália movement was not just a mistake but a total misunderstanding and superficial knowledge about it! Tropicália has something to do with change, revolution (through music aesthestics) and a new point of view to the world learn it. The Mr Bastos jokes are just the opposite: they solidify the prejudices and the problems around them. There's lots of other things really funny to laugh about. We don't need his jokes.

Honestly, I think NYT owes the brazilian women an official apology.
About Mr. Bastos, the brazilian law is already taking care of him - poorly but somehow...
